Sound quality is not the best, but you can hear the difference.... been there done that

First drill 2 o 3 holes and start the engine, then you can make them as loud as you'd like.

Default Staintune

Staintune doesn't list an exhaust for the CBR 1000. I wish they sold it.

EDIT: And I assume he is looking for something a little more budget friendly considering he mentioned the expense of other manufacturers.
I have a very biased view here of course (As Motad)- i would say that Motad is good value because of the time it lasts.

The cheap stuff is good if you are selling the bike and can get away with it- but the other good US and European manufacturers are more expensive because of the development and support given to the product.

The cheap stuff is only cheap until it breaks or doesnt work- and dont try asking for any technical details (especially during the chinese new year vacation) because in most cases the product has never been near a dyno.

Motad is proud of making exhausts in the West- ok our guys wont work for $80 dollars a month so we are a more expensive- anyone in Detroit?- how about going down the nearest car factory and telling cost they could save by moving production to china and wait for the reaction!
