The pic's never lie Steve (unless of course they have had major Photoshop magic).

Anyway back to Jarvid; his thread, I'm trying to implement a very deliberate policy of not thread jacking now.

I have finally got 500km on the rebuild, is it now time to do the first service?

Yep. I'd go for oil and oil filter, as well as Carb sync, valve inspection and a General good systems check.

After that I'd return to normal servicing.

Cheers - boingk

I'm still trying to decide if that is going to take this thread in an appropriate direction.

I am a little unsure how to reply to the above, um, I have not been over 6500rpm even though it feels like it wants more, it seems smoothest when under acceleration but is not the smoothest at just sitting on 3500-4000 just feels like it wants to go. It cacles and pops quit loudly when backing off hard, prolly spits out flames as it does, could it have too big a jet kit in it feeding it too much fuel, I now get 220km range before hitting reserve.
