Remember, the adjustment doesn't do anything for the fact that the rubber cushions are shrunk and hard so rattling may still exist if that's the issue. It's not a major noise anyway, more of a nuisance noise. If the gear was set a little loose at the factory it may help to reset but don't overtighten it. You'll do more harm than good. If you're going to mess with the adjustment, read the procedure from the manual and follow it to the letter. If I had this issue again, I'd probably let it go unless it was real bad. Also, mine was at least sometime over the 70,000 mile mark, maybe as high as 90,000, don't recall for sure. Listen to it with the screwdriver and make sure it's your problem before to do anything.
