Engine compatibility
Are all year 1000F enginescompatible with each other? I'm workign on an '87 that needs an engine and would like to know what other years are a direct fit. I'm pretty sure the '88s are the same but after that I'm not certain.

They should all fit, the only thing , later engine are a tad less powerful then the earlier model.
