I have a 1995 CBR 1000f, have put 3000 miles on it since May...now has 9000 miles on it.
had a ton of rain and its been parked in the garage for two weeks. When I went to start it I had a really hard time to get to run, it finally ran with the choke on, but when I shut the choke off, the bike dies. I replaced the plugs, airfilter, and the gas, it would then run good with the choke on, but not well with the choke off. Took it for a ride and it seems to pull out of it a bit at higher rmps, but still not at full power....anyone else ever see this, and does anyone have any suggestions. I need my fast CBR back.

 

I would say the cabies need a clean.
did you dump the fuel from the bowls.

 

Could be anything from a dodgy CDI to wet coils, even dirty jets. Try raising the idle and reducing the choke. Power loss with choke on is normal.....Are your air intakes clear ?
Plugs DPR9EA9 set correctly ?

 

Sounds very similar to mt last prob - and that was the CDI
