Default Electrical / wiring upgrade?

So I was looking though the wiring diagram getting ready for some winter projects when I noticed that the left side lght switch is supposed to have a passing switch. As usual for the colonies though, we didn't get that option. Does anybody know if a newer style switch, with the passing switch, would be a direct drop and plug solution?

Next up for winter projects:

Stebel Nautilis Horn
Cam Chain tensioner? (I smell another how to)
Cam Chain?
Carb Sync
