Default electrical issues

So my dad’s bike seems to be killing the battery. I’ve tested everything dealing with the charging system and It all tests to spec.
I also unhooked all the electrical connections and sprayed contact cleaner inside just to make sure they're all clean. When I unhooked the connector from the switch assembly that connects directly to the battery, part number 35850-MR5-007, the connector was fried. attached are some pictures on the connector. Is there a way o could test the switch assembly?

I reconnected everything and started the bike up just fine. I then unconnected the switch assembly again and reconnected it. Now the bike doesn't want to turn anything on. I tested wires for electricity to the ignition switch and it does have power but nothing is working. Idk what is wrong with this thing.

Another problem I was having before I started unhooking things was the headlights didn’t turn on. The bulbs and fuses are fine but they still don’t turn on. I think there is something terribly wrong with the wire harness but I can’t figure out what. This is just one problem on a list of things wrong with the bike.(including carburetor need cleaning, bike running on three cylinders, fork oil leak)

Any suggestions would help greatly.
