hot and humid Can cause bad connections
H4 light bulb from my auto part store, could they be draining No I run them too
I assume it would make a difference on the age of the battery to its ability to hold charge, is that correct? Yes if the battery stood with acid in it from 2011 it may be your problem.

But I still think it's your reg/rec

Others on here have chosen the Electrosport and been satisfied as well, go with the best deal. You are looking at between $85-145 depending where you get them, and which one you choose. The longer you wait, the longer before you can move on and ride again.

Thanks Shadow. I will check the connector where the 30A fuse is. Also, i decided to buy the rectifier. Thanks for your input. I'm glad this forum exists.

Thanks CBR1988. I think i will go with Electrosport as it's cheaper. hopefully cheaper doesn't mean less efficient. However, as you pointed out many has picked one up and it has yield good results

Last week I installed the ElectroSport R/R. Works great and is direct replacement. No cutting wires and bolts directly in. The price is not as high as others.

Hello all,
Once again thanks for your assistance on this issue. I had ordered a new reg/rectifier from my local dealer and hopefully they can get it in by tomorrow. I will post back whether this fix the issue or no. Fingers crossed. Thanks!

So your verdict is that the battery is fried? or it just needed to be fully charged? would plugging them the connectors when jump start cause any damaged to the battery? Should i replaced it? Some thoughts it was the rectifier earlier today?

so i bought a rick's regulator rectifier; however, it looks like just an EOM. Does anyone can confirm that's how is supposed to be? The only difference i see with rick's rectifier is that the cover is gel unlike the EOM. Hope they gave me one that will not keep the heat on it. If anyone finds or have a pic of a rectifier can you post it. I'd really appreciate it.

Hey:

What happened to the Electrosport?

Yes, that is what a ricks looks like see here. Aftermarket Motorsport Electric Parts

They also used to make a finned, better, more expensive, hi perf version that sold for about $50 USD more, I don't know if they still sell them for all models or at all , they look like this.
