This is how mine looks with the two 450mm carbon fiber silencers on:

Don't mind the crappy turn signals, had to remove the originals cause the Givi wingrack won't fit :P
Didn't bother to see how it looks with the covers on... I like how it looks now.

A small vid to hear the difference with and without the baffles:

This was before with the stock (but chromed) pipes and covers:

and stock looking. Even bought a pair of extra covers from Ebay ( $9 yeah I 'm cheap ) in case I have to get into modding then to mount up.
Sprock, the stock shields (for the later models) will fit the Tri-Ovals with surprisingly few modifications. The right side will bolt right on with no fitment issues, you simply have to fabricate mounting tabs for the bolts that would have attached to the old muffler. The left side has to have a small window milled out for the flattened section of the connector pipe. I'll post pics when I'm finished, but here is the right side with the stock exhaust shield mounted:

Thanks man , they look awesome ..........let me know and post up some pics
when complete right now I'm trying to make my damned mind up which pipes
I want .....probably be carbon but I like those shorty non-street wide mouth
ones too and according to Luke at Delkevic they sound simply amazing !

So what to choose ???? we'll see !

Plus they start inspecting bikes in Maine so I might have to get the sticker
before I go putting the pipes on

& Ranchome brother ......... ya got my vote already

However and Shadow will attest to this the 1990 Cali Silver is the most collectible

That really makes the bike! The chrome was bad, but those CF's are perfect!

The silencers looks good, especially for that price! Now what I find a bit disturbing is how long the middle pipe is and how the bracket sits compared to the length of the silencer itself.

Question for Delkevic owners - does the pipes allow for shortening, allowing for the silencer to "start earlier"? Or are they so angeled that the length is neccessary?

The mid-pipes aren't straight so I can't see how you could shorten them. You can get shorter cannisters though.

Ok...after much deliberation...I'm going to sell my Delkevics. They sound great, they look good...but I have decided that I like the idea of keeping this bike as close to stock as possible. Just personal preference. So, if anyone is looking for a set of Carbon Fiber Tri Ovals, I'll cut you a nice price on a set with less than 100 miles on 'em.

See photos in my previous posts in this thread.
