Looks a lot better than Trouts.

Now can't wait to hear about you riding down the road...

If Trout had those on his bike, not only could he ride good but look good doing it....

Do they accept the heat sheilds?
Nope, the shields won't go on as is. If you cut them down you can modify them to hide some of the junk underneath. I am going to relocate some of the drain hoses that are sticking way down. Then I might take the center stand off all together, although I hate to.

um as I suspected

So this has me thinking of going for the shorter round cans (like Dean's) and
have the supplied link pipes extended so the heat shields/ pipe covers .....go on
with some fabricated additional brackets. I'm not a big fan of the uncovered
look...... too much plumbing visible for me. Just my preference is all

Man I tell ya tho' they sure sound and look good ....imo

They look good ! i think I'd prefer them black or darker though, does anyone know if the blued ones get darker with use?
Another question, the sound is nice, didnt appear too loud or obnoxious at all. Did you have to rejet or adjust anything else.I quess it's too soon to tell, with the white stuff on the ground. It sounded like revs built nicely until after 7-8 grand then she just REALLY revved quickly. Was that your hand on the throttle or does the top end come on like that?

True that Dean, but I like 'em running right up to the can "stock" style !

Having said that your custom work for your old Hurricane there was one of the finest I'd seen done. !

BIO24, I love the dual cans. I think it suits this bike well. It also helps to conceal the UGLY centre stand set up. And I have never been a big fan of the stubby cans either. I guess I'm old fashioned.
i agree in your situation, but i took my center stand off and its never going back on. i keep debating about making a custom exhaust, i love shorty pipes that barely make it out of the bottom, but it's going to take some hacking up of my header which im not sure i want to do yet.

this is why i wish someone sold a cheap single exit alternative for me so i could get out my reciprocating saw and welder to do some work.
