If you moved the crankshaft gently around and felt the obstruction, you'll probably be OK but If you swung the motor forward and back with vigour, then you'd be better off checking the valve s before you continue.....

If you already have everything assembled run a compression check before buttoning up the top end. Bent valve = little or no compression.
