Question Clutch slave cylinder vibrates when bleeding, normal or not?

Hi Guys,

I've been putting fresh dot 4 in my 91 1000F clutch cylinders yesterday.
All went well, although I've noticed during the bleeding when pumping with the lever, the slave cylinder moves back and forth a tiny bit...is that normal or should I worry?
Everything still works well, no leakage whatsoever....

Thanx in advance,

Balle

Not sure, I will be able to help in a week or so once I have done mine on my F4i.
I'm pretty sure a tiny bit would not be a problem, have you check the bolts to the bar? If they are OK then should not be an issue
Cheers
Al

Hi Al,

thanx for your reaction.
Not sure which bar you mean as I’m talking about the slave cylinder which is bolted to the engine.

greetz!

Hi Balle,
Yeah sorry about that, didn't click that it was the Slave cylinder that you were talking about. Should be OK, can't remember if they have rubber mount or not?
Cheers
Al

Mine is a 1988, but I guess it's the same.
There is a long rod that is responsible when you pull the lever to disengage the clutch. Check that it is not binding and is lubricated.
