RE: clutch bleeding woes
My clutch feels firm when you first start to pull it in then gets softer. The clutch also disengages shortly after pulling the clutch in.
Is it supposed to engaged more near then the beginning or when its pulled in all the way? |

RE: clutch bleeding woes
Is it true you can pump the clutch and then hold it down with a rubberband overnight with the MC cracked and that will help bleed it?
|
RE: clutch bleeding woes
Bleed from the bottom - not the top ! Yes, rubber band will help, but also stresses the seals.[X(]

RE: clutch bleeding woes
ORIGINAL: Dragon64 Hi WhenI bleeded mine i ran in the same trouble, you need to unconect the hose at the cylinder lever, bleed the cylinder, once that is fine, reconnect thehose and bleed with the cable, there might be some dirt in there, it took me an hour to carry it trough and get rid of all the grit... |

RE: clutch bleeding woes
can anyone please explain? |
RE: clutch bleeding woes
I've bleed brakes and the clutches on my cars multiple times and I've never had any issues. I don't understand why the clutch isn't staying firm
|
RE: clutch bleeding woes
Am I supposed to be able to disengage the clutch by pulling it in with just my pointer/middle finger? The clutch completely disengages shortly after you pull it in
