I bled my clutch today and got all of the dirty fluid out of there

 

Now when I start to squeeze the clutch it feels firm, but as soon as I pull it in the clutch disengages very soon and the clutch feels soft

 

I took the cap off the MC and cleaned out the dirt and flushed the fluid.

 

Now the clutch disengages after just pressing the lever in and it feels soft. I made it worse

You must have got air in the system somehow (that sucks ) you just got unlucky. The only thing I can think of is to rebleed the system, should work. Anyone else?

 

Agree. Re bleed. Make sure the fluid is the correct type for your bike. Probably dot 4 not the silicone stuff.

WhenI bleeded mine i ran in the same trouble, you need to unconect the hose at the cylinder lever, bleed the cylinder, once that is fine, reconnect thehose and bleed with the cable, there might be some dirt in there, it took me an hour to carry it trough and get rid of all the grit...

 

Is this the bolt I have to crack on the right? Will fluid come out of it? Do I just crack it and bleed my clutch normally?
