I bled my clutch today and got all of the dirty fluid out of there

Now when I start to squeeze the clutch it feels firm, but as soon as I pull it in the clutch disengages very soon and the clutch feels soft

I took the cap off the MC and cleaned out the dirt and flushed the fluid.

Now the clutch disengages after just pressing the lever in and it feels soft. I made it worse

You must have got air in the system somehow (that sucks ) you just got unlucky. The only thing I can think of is to rebleed the system, should work. Anyone else?

Agree. Re bleed. Make sure the fluid is the correct type for your bike. Probably dot 4 not the silicone stuff.

WhenI bleeded mine i ran in the same trouble, you need to unconect the hose at the cylinder lever, bleed the cylinder, once that is fine, reconnect thehose and bleed with the cable, there might be some dirt in there, it took me an hour to carry it trough and get rid of all the grit... |

Is this the bolt I have to crack on the right? Will fluid come out of it? Do I just crack it and bleed my clutch normally?

My clutch feels firm when you first start to pull it in then gets softer. The clutch also disengages shortly after pulling the clutch in.
Is it supposed to engaged more near then the beginning or when its pulled in all the way? |

If I pump the clutch it will build up pressure

Is it true you can pump the clutch and then hold it down with a rubberband overnight with the MC cracked and that will help bleed it?

Bleed from the bottom - not the top ! Yes, rubber band will help, but also stresses the seals.[X(]

where is the bolt hose at the cylinder level?? how do i bleed with it taken off?

I've bleed brakes and the clutches on my cars multiple times and I've never had any issues. I don't understand why the clutch isn't staying firm

Am I supposed to be able to disengage the clutch by pulling it in with just my pointer/middle finger? The clutch completely disengages shortly after you pull it in
