Default Cbr1000f hard to work on

Hello all. I had to do chain, sprockets, and back brakes on my 1991 cbr1000f last night. I come from GSXR's of all years. I have done a lot of jobs like these but this bike had to be the worst. Only Suzuki seems to be friendly to the mechanic. I do not know if there are others out there that feel the same but has anyone had the same experience?

I also own an XR600 and trx200. They seem real easy to work on, must be just the street bikes.

The rear pads are only held in with one pin, after the plug is taken out. And the pad spring is only weird if you put it in upside down. Or backwards. I replace the pad pin each time because it get grooves from the pads sliding on them.

And changing the front sprocket is harder than the Gixxer because of the hydraulic slave cylinder and all the bolts have different lengths. And the shifter has to come off, along with the speedo cable and adaptor. I also replace the $5 adaptor. Some Suzuki's (SV650) speedos are driven off the front wheel.

To change the rear sprocket, the wheel has to come off. That's easy. The hard part is putting it together. You have to hold the wheel with one hand, push the axle in with one hand, hold all the spacers and brake caliper holder with one hand, and guide the axle into all the other spacers with another hand. Wait, that's four hands. Maybe it is more difficult than the Gixxer.
