cbr1000f 88 front cam chain guide
Hi friends
please can you advise me how to remove the front cam chain guide on the above mentioned bike. I have cam chain rattle on low revs, - it disappears after 2000 rpm . I have bought a new camchain, front , back and top chain guides to install but I can't see how to remove the front guide.
By the way, the top and rear guides that I have removed show little signs of wear. I have not found a new tensioner to replace the existing one, and I have been told that the later model tensioner ( which is available) will not fit.
The tensioner from the bike appears to function correctly, and I am not sure where the rattle emanates from!
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Many thanks Red Baron,
the people at CSML said the CCT from later model CCT,s would not fit my 88 model, but I had my suspicions that they were wrong.
However, I have decided to replace the chain and two of the followers and see what happens. I don't want to take the head off just to replace the front follower.
If it is still noisy , I will buy later CCT.
