Am just in the process of dealing with excessive cam chain rattle on my project cbr 1000 hurricane upon pulling out the tensioner I found that the slider attached To the tensioner appears slightly worn on the slider face the chain has worn a track noticable mostly at each end of the slider at the extremity of the chain contact I can just plck the edge with my finger nail say half a mm. Will this cause chain slap. I will of course be de sludging the tensioner and making sure its operating fully.

 

I have no clue, but is there a chance these are still available new? and you could compare a new one with yours?
