The cowl is a tight fit especialy where the grabrail runs along side it,went for a spin today,cowl was fastened with double sided tape,didnt even budge!

So,the prototype is a winner,just need to refine it for the next one-then i will concentrate on further mods for locking down etc.

Dzus is another name for quick release fasteneres. Google in and it will show you all the different styles that are out there. Mainly used by the racing world.

Default Seat Cowl #2

I did this one in the last 24 hours,with sheet metal clips.This one SLIDES on /off once the seat is removed in the usual way.Lot stronger than the prototype& virtually straight as a die.

I thinks those clips will damage the seat covering fairly quickly...........?

They will be gaffer taped after i paint the Cowl,there Aluminium,so no sharp burrs.
