I'd go with wide velcro - I'd like to meet the little baaastid who can steal it when properly fitted..............2" wide strips x 2 or 3.

I understand your point of view but with that much velcro, there will be very little room left for a passanger to sit on so might as well bolt the cover to the bike.

Nice prototype by the way. How abut rare Earth magnets? Some will hold better than any velcro. Just an idea!

The velcro holds the cover on from UNDER the seat - how would that affect the pillion ?
The pillion's not on the bike with the cover on !

For some reason I can't picture it. The velcro would go under the seat, on the edge of the plastic tail sesction?

What is the definition of a "pillion"?

I think a return lip under the seat and just connect it to the seat plastic with some Ducati style Dzus fasteners. Still a quick release, but cant be pinched off the seat.
