Yer , I think Pete's concern about drilling or bolting it on is right...
The velcro sounds good...maybe in conjunction with it hooking over in front of the little grab rail mounts below the seat ? (4 of them) or just two?
I have this picture in my head of it getting air born at speed from the wind
lookout behind!!! incoming !!
Hooking it forward of those rail mounts would stop it going backwards ? and the hook mounts would not be seen the velcro straps would stop it lifting ...
anyway Rob ...it looks great mate !!

The edging looks kool Rob .. nice and neat ...
Have you given any thought to the fixing as yet .?
Thought I may as well throw my 2 cents worth in mate ...
Image to discribe my dribble above
If the hooks were molded into the cowl so they fitted under the grab rail mounts they would be near unseen too...

Not yet mate,i want to get a purfect sample before i even think about fixing it to the seat.
But being in the country ,have to wait for the weekend before i hit the big smoke[ballarat] to get the gell pack for the master mould.
Still think a couple of hidden self tappers would be the go,below the grabrail line of sight.
If they were to be stolen, well the Urchin would have to break it away from the seat......
One big issue i noticed with this project is the very tight fit of the seat, plus the grabrail making things even tighter when the cowl is in place.......
