It's THAT tiny. I can attest to this cuz I had to buy a new one, and inspected it before I used it. What I do is hold it up to the sun and look through it. You gotta line it up just right, or you won't se it. I also use the smallest welding torch cleaner I have, but some people use fishing line.
Just to be sure, I soak it overnight in carb cleaner, then spray carb cleaner through it. First spray it down the sides while covering the ends, then do the reverse. Make sure you see cleaner coming out of each hole. After that, compressed air. As a final check, I'll cover up the sides, and just blow through it with my mouth. After all that, the things will be pretty damn clean.
