well as some of u mite remember, i purchased a CB1300 recently. got to be honest i cant get enough of it. love the smoothness, power and comfortable ride position. lent a mate of mine my cane so he could ride out with us and yup he wants to buy it..will sell it as i know he will look after her and i luv me CB...always amazes me that ya bike or car always looks its best the day u sell it... sad to see her go but moneys money...fond memories..

I can't blame you for your decision.
I wish I could ride more without all the plastic but where I live we only have two seasons, winter and July.

How does the new ride shift? I bet it is not as clunky.

a big clunk into 1st then smooth all the way....just gotta get small screen for front, heard they really help.. we only have one season ere last couple o years... crap.... yup offer was too good to turn down..plus i need the ££££'s... still a big cane fan tho..

Well, at the end you can say that Honda is Honda, wether you ride the CB or CBR you have the same soul that make this brand so reliable and trusty...good luck...and invite your mate to join the forum now that he's going to join the "familia".

Ya CB13's are IMO the best bike to own if you live in the suburbs, my dad has one and its a uter hoot to ride (brings out the hoon in me), but on the open road I wouldn't trade my old fatbat for it, they are tiring to ride at speed, but I love their engine

Yeah I just bought a CB1300 recently too. Took it to the track today for the 1st time. Man it was a hoot. Only time it got outta shape was braking on the main straight at 200kph
