Default Rewired R/R

I just replace all the connector for the R/R - some were a little burnt.

What has happened, is that the previous owner or the bike shop where I brought the bike from has replace the R/R and it looks like they have fitted an older version or aftermarket to the bike as there seams to be two wires wound together (red).
So I have a bunch of bulet plugs before the main connector plug.

I think someone was trying to save money on getting a second hand or aftermarket R/R - not worth it, it has cost me 2 breakdowns and 3-hours of wiring and it still looks boggie and I rather pay the extra and have it done properly.

There are some area where sortcuts work - this is not one of them

I have also some really bad scraches on my front fender, where the guy who owned the bike before me has scraped the pain off somehow - I was going to send it to the paint shop, would cost me about $200 I guess.
Just sprayed some touch up paint on it and it dons't look to bad, still not great, but it's an old bike and my paint work is not immaculate.

The only one who has to be happy with the paint job is YOU, MarkR - who gives a **** what anyone else thinks anyway.
At least she's running again.....

Yes, Burn myself many times. used Kurode Kure on it as well.
also pulled the R/R amd cleaned where the bolts go and the earth wire and put some Kurode greass on them.
diconnected the (+) on the battery before I did anything.

I was going to put a passive head sink on the R/R, but opted out.

Just out of interest Mark do you remember the number printed on the RR?

I've recently changed mine with one I was forced to buy in Northern Spain. The number is slightly different to my original.

I wonder if anyone knows what the numbers mean or what model they relate to?
