Naw.. I'll wait for the finished product. Best of luck with painting and clearcoating. That website shows only solid lines, not flexible ones. Darn. I was hoping for a good hit. Guess Ill keep looking.
Thanks for the help though, I'll take anything I can get for suggestions. It really helps.

Sorry, thought you meant hard lines. I'd did some looking around (with my super ninja google skills) and needless to say it would be a BAD idea to make your own flex lines. For safety reason mostly, I'm not going to give you the instuctions I found as I'm not going to put your life in danger. You can probally find them if you are really determined but I wouldn't suggest it. Sorry for the mix up.

I de-linked mine and went with HEL. One line for each caliper. Looks better and feels better. The only thing is that with the SS braided line on the rear, it tends to lock up quick. Any bumps in the road that may change pedel pressure can cause lock up. With the LBS and twin rubber lines the rear was mushy and never lock up.

Hy
Where I work (a motorcycle custom shop only HD bikes) I make Stainelss stell brethed brake line (flexible) a lot of times. I am doing it for more then 3 years, and I have more then 80 bikes fited, none of them had any problems. As long as you route them well on the bike, you secure them well and they don't have any leaks after instaling there will not be any problem. I also thought of fitting my Cane with new brake lines, but as I am part of the shop and can arange the parts at dealer price is still way to expensive! If you go for stainless then go all the way, not just the hose but the terminals as well. Its realy simple to do the process and you dont need any special tools, if you are still intrested I will explain you how to do it. I still think that DE-linking the system is better and a lot cheeper. But as others said I still can not decideif the brake system fits my needs and my riding style...you know whatI mean?!Think about it and let me know. Also try to see if you can find the brake line and the terminals where you live.
Cheers

A how-to would be great. I'd love to give it a crack.
