Some might remember I questioned a while ago if the owner of the CBR1000F pictured was on here so I could find out how he fitted the Blackbird pipes to his CBR1000F. I got a hold of him and he very generously sent me some pictures. His bike is a UK import and it seems it has custom headers on it and the mufflers are modified also. I was hoping this would be easy but it isn't. I will try my own way to do the job. The owner of the bike doesn't like the exhaust as it hangs too low.

 

 

How about with a set of Delkevic headers and a pair of aftermarket pipes from Italy as seen on eBay? No need to mess about, just bolt them on!

I like the design of the Blackbird pipes and bought a set for $20. I have a few sets of headers and a 4 into 1 but want to try the Blackbird route.
