Default a bit of time off

just had another week off, so I thought I would rebuild the front brakes and fit braided line


a stuck piston removed with my insert puller

best £15.00 I have ever spent, makes short work of filling the callipers and lines with fluid, then bleed in the normal way, I usually pump the lever a fair few times and tie back and leave for a few hours and hopefully if there are any bubbles left they rise to the resevior

Hi Wheelnut.
Cant beat having the right gear. If I do the same job, and Im without the kit you have, I fill the caliper up with fluid with a cheap syringe, then put the brake lines on then fill the resivior up. Bleeding those bleeding brakes is a doddle.

yep I have done it the same way, the syringe makes life easier, I take it with bleeding we have all learnt the hard way, at least I know I did
