Bike still stutter after Carb sync
Thanks a lot guys
You're all an infinite source of wisdom in here.
I was in fact thinking of getting rid of my bike, her name wasn't Angie no more, I named her
something completely different when I rode her yesterday and it felt like I had
joined a horse jumping contest...
(This smiley is spot on, exactly how I felt lol)
Good to know that was the fueltank overflow funnel, should have checked were it went before
We do have ethanol mixed with regular gasoline too, here in Sweden, about 5-10 %. Good point TBT. Will try
turning the screw out more if I have to dismantle the carbs again.
In all honesty I'm a bit fed up spending all my time in the garage so the first thing I'm gonna
try is Seafoam and if that doesn't do the trick I'll see if I can get hold of some cheap sticks.
Couldn't find any resellers in US who would ship Seafoam abroad, so have to get it from Ebay.
Anyone tested this and know exactly which bottle would be the best for bikes?

Maybe put up a couple of links to any you can find on e-bay, see if the US guys recommend it?
Sorry forgot you're in Sweden, difficult to get Seafoam outside the US, I've only ever seen it on E-bay as well.

Thanks hawkwind, it seems like it's the Motor Treatment 16 oz bottle you can use for
this purpose. Found at least one seller that ships worldwide.
The bottle is $8 but with shipping it will be $41.. That's crazy, well I'll see if
I can find something cheaper hopefully.

Also Techron is as good as or equivalent to Seafoam imo
to ship if they do it at all due to Dangerous Air Cargo.
I'll try some fuel additive I can get here and see if that makes it better, could be like TBT said, poor quality gasoline or too lean mixture.
Can try premium gasoline too and see if it ups things. If not, well then I'm back to my good ol' workshop, doing some "repairing"
It's been raining like ... the last couple of days but I managed to get her
out for a short ride today. Emptied a whole bottle of some fuel additive I
bought at the gas station. And she ran a lil bit smoother, I think.. or
maybe it was because of the heavy crosswind we had here. When it's not raining this
summer it's so windy here so you can barely stay on the road.. Have to do
some more testing when the weather acts up

clean the carb slides of carbon build up and check each of the diaphragms and clean
needles easy to do with carbs in place
Also a piece of nylon fishing line filament can be poked gently through each main just
in case you got a blockage , then of course drain the bowls once done - again all with
carbs in place even a little compressed air down through with the bowls drain screws
out works too - nice and gentle
oh and did I mention the coil sticks help with hesitation ?
worst case scenario your pilot jets and adjustment screws are dirty and need to be done.
Is you tank totally rust and dirt free ? shake the tank up good and drain some into a glass
jar to check - you may have perpetual fouling of the carbs going on.

Hey Hojen,
Here's a link to the best price on a stick coil loom. I ordered from here. They ship International.
06-07 HONDA CBR1000RR COIL WIRE HARNESS wiring CBR 1000 RR 1000RR 2006 2007 | eBay
Of course, you'll still need to find the coils

Great tips, Sprock
Thanks a lot, I didn't open up that side last time so will
check the diapraghms and sides too. Maybe the jets became dirty somehow
when I assembled everything last time. I was careful but you never know.
I did go trough the tank infact, with a led flashlight and it looked very
clean, couldn't see any debrief down there but I'm gonna have a look again.
Yeah, coil sticks...
That'll be on top of my list if and when I'm sure
it hasn't anything to do with the carbs/jets/air etc. But if I do stumble over
some cheap sticks before, I sure give 'em a try

Would these fit directly to a 1000f then so I wouldn't needto do any pairing myself?
Oh, just checked how much it would be with shipping, nearly 40$
Can't understand why it's so expensive, shipping to Sweden. Well, should
be able to find some here too I think
