Thinking about cutting down my exhaust and baffle for a bit tomorrow for some more sound. Anyone do this? Would be nice for a rough drawing of what to expect on the insides.

Bazman, one of those tribal sticker kits in black would look good..........one of our new members had a black on black tribal I thought was stunning, otherwise just a clearcoat over the red !

CM I think the std pipe gutting exercise might be a bit of a handful, butto each his own.......

Bazman, Very nice bike. I painted my 96 the same color scheme in bright blue pearl and black except I did the side bumper protecters in black to break up the blue some. I still have not gotten around to wet sanding and buffing yet as I did everything myself and spent almost eternity sanding all the paint off to bare plastics. Much more work than anticipated. Then I can put the silver chrome OEM style decals on, which I already have. Winter project along with some mechanical work. Hopefully I can learn how to post some pics in the spring or sooner. Then maybe I can spend more time riding herthan working on her.

I thought about doing the protectors in black aswell, same reason. Break up the solid red a bit. I photoshopped it a bit a while back and it looks ok but I dunno about doing it.

They don't look all that clever in matt black, CM
go to www.bikepics.com - I think there are a couple in there.

Plenty of colours to choose from.............
Yer I agree Pete ..

Its a bit hard when going away from the stock color schemes I recon...
There are so many nice stock colors that I would have to think very very long and hard before leaving the stock ones...

If you really like red and black ....
check out this one ...its Napalm1000's baby....
I recon its the best version of red and black that honda has come up with ..

I know there is another scheme very similar to this where the black is hard up to the red with a defined line...I recon this one is way better though...

Thank you CBRclassic! Too Flattering. Only wish I had matching Mirrors! Happy Holidays My Friend!
