Default Baptism of fire

I'm flying down to get the bike on the weekend and riding it home (1,200km) over monday and tuesday. I'm sure it will be fine but is there any tools I shold make sure I have with me for simple fixes that may come up?

Many photos will pop up next week once I have the bike!

Make sure you check the Oil, Water, Fluids and Tires before you bring the bike back.

When I pick my bike up, they had put a new battery in it, but it had a faulty regulator, but we didn’t know it.
I rode the bike home but next morning, I went to start it and I quickly wound the battery flat. (Not used to starting it).
If I had a long ride back (instead of 30k’s), I would be on the side of the road.

So I guess my lesson is, “If buying a car or bike and the battery had just been replaced, the charging unit is not proven”.

You will love the ride back.
