Did you replace the split pins when changing your CCT?
What's a split pin ? I've not heard the terminology before.

Also know as cotter pins.

I did replace the cotter pin when I replaced the cct ,but one of the rivits broke on the tensior which caused the overall faliure. will be replacingwith all new components , having new cams made with a more aggressive profile ,wiseco 1049 piston kit with more compression. looking for more power. I drag race the bike some and I want to improve the performance with out having to replace bike. my drag bike I use normally also going through extensive mods. Trying to get it into the 7sec range and the cbr into the 8 sec range.
