Default Back End Walking

I notice that my back wheel is walking a little
Even though I’ve aligned the markers for the back wheel adjustments, should I use the distances from the swing arm to tire or wheel instead?
My back wheel looks a little bit buckled, how much buckle can I have before I should think about getting it fixed?

Try taping a pencil or other soft material on the swingarm so the pencil is even with the rim of the wheel. Spin the wheel and see how much the wheel is out-of-round. As for alignment, I measure from the center of the swingarm pivot to the center of the rear axle with a large caliper I made. I make sure both sides are exactly even.

If your back wheel is even slightly buckled,I wouldn`t risk riding on it!
Is it worth the risk?

take a metal coat hanger, straighten it out...as straight as possible...bend one end about 3/8 inch then take small wire tye...go from swing arm pivot center to axle center mark that with wire tye-compare to opposite side...don't trust swing arm marks...this is cheap true way to check alignment.

I measure the buckle today, it’s not really buckled, just looks that way cause of the edge of the rim where they fitted the tires.
I measure 0.5 – 1 mm of buckleness, so I happy with that.
I also measure from the tires edge and that was good (about 1mm)

I readjusted the back wheel, the markers where out by the smallest bit.
Haven’t work out the way mention in previous posts yet.

I rode the bike and it is better but still walks a little, may it’s my tire as well as it a 180 and has more wear in the centre than the sides, I going to try some different tire pressures by one or two psi either way to see if there is any improvement.

When it transisitions from the flat center to the rounded sides, the bike walks. Time for a new tire. A 170 might even work better.
