Anyone take their Hurricane to the track?
I ride my hurricane just about everyday and I love her. Lots of people (young punks in little honda civics) seem to under estimate the bike's speed. I was very curious to see what the bike runs in a 1/4 mile? anyone got any numbers??? Horsepower?? Torque? Any numbers would be appreciated

RE: Anyone take their Hurricane to the track?
The basic power stayed the same also for later models, at least here in Sweden, with135 hp at the crank giving about 115 rwhp. There have been restricted versions though, like e.g.100 hp at the crank (just below 90 rwhp). The restriction was however veryeasy to eliminate by carving the intake rubbers to full diameter. The engine respondsnicely to replacement of the completeexhaust system, which will increase the already good power stockwith about screaming 15 hp
