Hi

I purchased a tank cover for my 99 FX but can't work out how to fit it.

There is a short rubber strap on each side of the cover with a metal hook. It looks like the hooks should fit on the under rim of the tank but then the side panels won't fit properly.

I can't see anywhere else under the tank to fit the hooks onto.

Am I being very dumb or something!!!!!???

 

Yes,i recently bought one - took me a while too - there are two horizontal holes on the side panels below the tank- one above the other,the hooks go in the top hole.
