Many of the SCCA sports racers use bikeengines now. My car is a D Sports, with a minimum weight with driver of 900 lbs for road racing and 1020 lbs for Solo racing. I'll post a picture soon.....

It might be possible that you have got the shifter forks in the wrong way rounnd. this would explain not being able to get some gears. Hopefully you might get some idea from this pic.

I got the shifter back together. There was a few more parts in backwards. Now it seems to shift fine. So I guess this motor will work after all. Thanks for the help guys. I'll post pics of the finished bike.
