I replaced all three chains, timing chain, oil pump chain, and generator drive chain without opening the engine. Unfortunately, the alternator chain tensioner is now dead and there is no possibility of replacing it except by opening the engine. It got stuck and no longer presses on the chain tensioner lever. There is only one screw that forces the disassembly of the engine and it is the one that binds the tensioner near the alternator. There is no space to remove this damn screw, the other two are accessible from the bottom of the engine while this can be glimpsed by removing the alternator but there is no possibility to unscrew it. I have resigned myself and have to open the engine. The question I ask you is who has already done the job. Which seals must be obtained before performing the mechanical intervention? which ORing? which flat gaskets? which sealant to close the engine?
