I understand. My previous post was totally tongue in cheek!

Firstly why is your clutch lever rattling ?
Secondly, your original levers aren't symmetrical - brake is a good bit shorter than clutch.....
Because it's a CBR. Everyone I've seen has the same problem. The bushing it fits in is far to large, and the lever rattles in it. I've talked to dozens of CBR 1000f owners with the same compliant. I could try and find a different bush, but that's not bling enough.
I think both my levers are the same size. At least damn close to the same size.

Mine's a 90 model with original levers, and they don't rattle at all - 70000 K's on the clock so far.
Pics of my brake and clutch levers - clutch is much longer........
I'd love a set of Pazzo's, but the price here is very steep.....

I replaced my clutch lever a few weeks ago. It rattled because there is a brass bushing where the pin goes through. When it wears out the lever rattles. I rotated the bushing and the rattle stopped but I relpaced it anyway ($8 and change US).

I think that they rattled from the showroom floor. I've taken mine out and it's still perfectly round, and doesn't appear worn. Just the hole is too big. I'll see if I can find something local to match it up to. If not, I'll just get a new bushing.

I have adjustable levers on my 1991 CBR1000FL.

Looked around many bikes before finding a set.

The VTR1000 Firestormlevers are adjustable and the same fit as the CBR1000FL

Hope this helps

Dean

Excellent! I will see if I can find some and try them. I think the Firestorm is called the Super Hawk here in the states. Or as we affectionately call it.... the Super Chicken!

Yep, found it here. Ron Ayers.com has the clutch lever for $32.95. I might have to order one up!
