Exclamation P&T

To resolve carb/jetting issues you must start with 2 essentials. PATIENCE and TIME.
Had mine rejetted 2 years a go and it took hours of tweaking, balancing, changing let along riding time.
Can I suggest putting thr airbox in and seeing if she runs ok. If she does then swap the pods back and find someone with various jet sets and a balancer withe lots of P&T.
Good luck

THIS might be of assistance Epic - I'd go with options 3 and 4 in your case

well good news .. so far so good with the jets i ordered and keeping the pod filters on .. that slugish run on 2 cylinder feel is gone under 4000rpm's , it runs super smooth threw all rpm's i couldnt be happier .. just need to adjust the throttle responce with is very slightly delayed and shes back to being a hurricane lol

Good to know Epic - what size mains did ya get ?

I just went with 135's and upped the pilots to 42 as well with x2 shims across the
rack. Yet to fit them tho' and suspect might not need double shims on each but hey
ya never know

awesome man ! we must ride someday

I'd say 140(s) +/- are going to do well with
those pods

I made an estimate at 135 because of the airbox
but I can play with the shims a bit

Oh hey man - most week days I'm only 20 mins from you up 495

You'd be surprised there still about a half dozen Hurricanes regulars on the
roads in the Tri State Seacoast area

What's the thinking for the different sizes? I wouldn't think different sizes are needed for liquid cooled.

honestly ... i dont know , the kit i bought came with 2-140 ,2-142.5,2-1450,2-147.5 for the main jets and 8 metel washers and 4 plastic washers ... i did what i was told in the instructions and things worked well.. it wanted me to drill holes and clips 1or2 rings off the throttle spring but didnt do .. i just did the main jets and spacers on the needle (4 plastic ones) and she seems to ride well..

i was actually thinking if i had to up the poilots on them ?? not sure if i need to . but any help with tuning the carbs are welcomed
