If someone here can help me either what to search for or if there is any other body kit that will fit this bike. Even if it is for another year or style and has to be modified.

I was all ambitious to start repairing the busted up plastic that I got from the previous owner/crasher but when I got to the upper front fairing there is just too much missing in complex corners and bends. I will continue to keep trying just for the fun of it, seriously though any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to all.

What model and year is it ? Bodykits for 87/88 are different from 89-92, which are different from 93 onwards..........

93-96 are the only years that will directly swap with each other

93-96 direct bolt on. ok. Thank you. I, like I'm sure everyone here can't find anything that says it's directly for this bike. Anyone successfully completed a swap from another bike, say from an F2,F3 or maybe a newer 1000. If someone says it is possible and they have done it to theirs, I think I will make the attempt.I just don't want it to look stupid.

I think the only way to do a newer 1000 is the rear plastic only. And you would need to replace the subframe and weld in a new one from the new 1000. And redo the upper shock mount. Might as well go full out and do a SSSA

Ooops - sorry, old age I guess........[X(]
e-Bay is your best option for secondhand, but nothing on the UK or US sites at the moment.............
A member did swap fairings with a Blackbird, and did a helluva job too. It's back about 3 months in the posts, with a "how to"
