93 rear brake, no pressure
Rear brake issues... I'm sure not a new thing. I replaced rear brake master cylinder with new one.
ive bled system just like manual says, vacuum and manual. 5mm hex opened in 2nd master cylinder.
I get solid fluid iout of fromt calipers when bleeding but air out of back brake caliper. 2+ quarts of fluid down reservoir.
Sometimes I get a tad bit of pressure in foot brake pedal, most the time I don't.
I did take rear brake caliper off and no stuck pistons. Even replaced rubber washers (from brake masters kit)
Any one have a better idea of what could be the issue? I'm outta ideas.
ooops

If you're getting air out of the back caliper, the bleed isn't complete. 2 quarts is crazy though. Surely you got most of that fluid back...?
Also make sure you're following the procedure for your brake setup. I think the 93 had linked brakes, so the procedure is more complicated. Could be a large air bubble in one of the lines somewhere

opened it and re bled the entire system again. I started getting pressure in the rear pedal when I was bleeding with orifice screw left closed. Then as I opened it and re bled, I believe I have rear brake pressure now. And yes, even more air came out of the rear brake caliper valve closest to the engine (I believe that's the one going through the secondary caliper and proportion valve. It was almost like that line had an air lock in it and just wouldn't bleed properly.
