CBR1KF throttle cables
Hey:
Ideally should be replaced in pairs not singles, then keep good old one for spare, they can be rebuilt by most good shops if only needing an inner. Also there is probally a different model that interchanges with it as long as they have the same fittings and the same overall leagth, they will work, just take to a shop and have them match it up. Motion Pro still makes and sells both new cables for most bikes just not listed on web page. Heres an example of the other cx: MOTION PRO THROTTLE PULL CABLE BLACK HONDA CBR1000F 87-88 93-96 | eBayhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CBR100...e190bc&vxp=mtr just ask if they have both cables. Same for all years or can be made to work. or if all else fails http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/custom/ Iron Pony or Dennis Kirk may have them as well. Lastly there is a few Brit companies that make all cables for any bike, http://www.rdb93.co.uk/motorbike_cable.htm or http://www.venhill.co.uk/, Venhill has a fantastic rep, they manufacture the custom kits many a shop use to make new cables. Good luck

My throttle cable just broke this morning.
I'm assuming that's what happened anyway.
It stopped accelerating, wouldn't rev but just
stayed at an idle no matter how I twisted the throttle.
Haven't been able to look at it yet, had to push and
park her at an Exxon cause I was on my way to work.
They don't seem expensive or like it would be too hard of a job.
Are they hard to replace?
