Default 1st Ride Since July 16th

I finally had enough and had to take "Hurricane Becky" out yesterday. Damn did it feel good. I didnt realize how much I missed both of 'em; the Person and the Machine. It was like meeting an old friend again. An old friend who wanted her *** kicked. After about a 2 hour ride, I was sore and cold enough to call it a day. Man I forgot what 100mph felt like. Glad to be back boys.

I had a couple of large barriers keeping from the road.

1 - The snow, ice, n cold. nuff said. But I kept her plugged in. warm, and started occasionally.

2 - On 7-16 my wife lost her battle with several illnesses she bravely fought for several years. We named the bike after her when she was alive and even had a WW2 bomber style pin up girl rendition of her painted on the bike when we changed it from black n silver to its original red, white, n blue. It was just too much of a reminder. Now I guess its a tribute.

Its running good now, but I think I'm in need of a carb sync soon. I did it not too long ago, and I just cant seem to keep 'em synced. I'll let a pro do it this time so I can blame them when they go out of balance too soon again

My sympathies too Mike. That's so sad. I guess it's hard for any of us to imagine how you must feel.
The story of Hurricane Becky is a tribute to your courage. Long may she ride in Becky's memory.
Take care man!
