1987 CBR 750 Hurricane

Nice bike for sure. I would liken it to the 97 GSXF 750 I had a few years back. That was my entry level road bike and I loved it. In the end I found it to be under powered and stepped up to the BB and the glorious old Hurricane. Hope you enjoy your 750 as much as we love our 1000's. Cheers.

Yup thats ma old man... Not sure weather to paint him back to standard colours or go for something differant as i know that he isn't wearing a standard paint job at the mo !!
It is a Japanese import, previous owner had the clocks converted to UK clocks which is great, my 1st bike was an Aprillia RS125, and guessing where 30mph was for speed cameras was always a pain in the *** LOL.
He will be coming home at the end of the month, hopefully the work done to the pipes will give him a lil extra power so i can take hime round some twisties XD

And stop calling him "The Old Man". I'm 1955 vintage and I find it offensive. LOL

Hey! I was only going with what I read in a magazine. It's not the first time they were wrong. The info that you provided shows the CBX with 105 HP. So a 750 with 102 HP before fuel injection and all the other hi tech stuff is certainly no slouch even though the bottom of the spec link page says The CBR750 is not an outright speedball.

LOL Thanks... And no, he will allways be my old man =P
I think a bit of th HP has been lost over the years as he isnt much of a puller, but hoping some love and care will restore some of that ! He also runs very lean, need to get the carbs balanced and cleaned as he reeks of petrol when ridiing =/
Im also looking to change the cans, they are standard at the moment, any idea's as i want louder, as idiots in cages round ere don't see bikes =@

Try this for a start

If more noise required, spend more money (sigh, ain't that always the way)
