Default Knock on deceleration -ADVICE

2006 CBR F4I- 22,301 miles

Iam new to the site and I am in need of help - the shop tells me that there is nothing wrong with the bike.

(STORY)
1-month ago I took the bike in for the 20,000 mile service (like a good owner) the bike was running fine before the tune up. AFTER is a nother story. ON deceleration I get a HARD CRACKING sound out of what sounds like the front of the motor. (up between the tank and front fairing (Took it back to the shop, They stated that the valves may be too tight) so I put it back into the shop for the second time. 6 days ago and yesterday I am zipping along (at 90 ) and have to delcelerate and I hear it again... CRACK ....CRACK..... CRACK I pull in the clutch and it stops, release the clutch and starts.

I need GOOD advice and no rants please....

thank you for your time...

When they did your twenty thousand mile service did they replace your clutch? What your describing sounds like decelleration clutch chatter. I get it on my bike too if I decel real hard while downshifting. Previous to the service I was thinking your clutch was just worn and would slip instead of grabbing and causing it to chatter. Let me know what you think????

And you might want to post this in another section other than the sponsor section, you'll get more hits i'm sure.

I was just reading the other day, sudden deceleration from Speed will cause the CCT to jerk violently, that was for a Fireblade '92 model, maybe that applies to all Bikes?
