I love you guys, but the only place any stock (or even close) CBR1000F of any year made 135hp is in somebody's very vivid imagination. Think about this. On a dyno, a ZX-11 made approx. 135hp stock, and it was the huge HP/speed overdog all the way until the Hayabusa came out. To relate this info to our conversation, an 87 CBR1000F is definitely a slower bike even than the ZX-10 (came after the 'Ninja 1000), let alone the ZX-11.

My seat-o-pants dyno puts my 94 model at about 112 or so, but it's jetted a little fat. I'll be running it on a dyno w/ EGA to discover what I need to do to get the jetting spot on, and when I do that I'll post up the results in a new thread.

135...that's rich

135 at the crank

113 at the wheel

That's exactly what I have seen in various published dyno tests and spec sheets. Rear wheel dyno's take a lot of wind out of your sails.

I'll keep checking back with him to see when he gets them back in stock and I'll let you know for sure.
Just an update on this.
Yes, I've been checking on these screens pretty regularly. Since it had been over two weeks, I contacted the seller again about when he was getting more.
He told me to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks, and they should be in stock. (this was early this week)

Sooo.... I'm gonna give it a couple more weeks and keep checking back.
Who knows if it will happen.
I'll let you all know....

Hopefully they'll have 'em. IMO there isn't a better deal out there on a screen.

Their chart doesn't show that. (or I can't see it.)

My problem with the original windscreen is that the wind hit right under my helmet. Cold in the winter and noisy all the time. I put on the Sport/touring screen by Zero Gravity. Same shape as original, but four inches taller. The wind now hits at the top of my helmet. Much better. Plus, I like a clear screen for my white bike.

Damn that's nice. I'd cuss you for showing me that kind of a picture while it's too cold to ride here, but I'm above that.
