I'll keep checking back with him to see when he gets them back in stock and I'll let you know for sure.
As far as dragon, I think he got one for an '88. They are still available and in stock. We need the later model ones. (aka...the "better" ones... )

The only pix I can find of one mounted is on Thunder's trip thread and the mirrors hide the profile. Anyone know of any better pictures of one of these t1concept versions mounted?

This is from Ebay for the early Canes:

Look at post #9 in that same thread (page #1). There is a good pic of his bike with it mounted. Shows the whole thing.
Here's a link to the pic.

Thanks, Trout. That looks pretty good. It looks a lot like Dao's at:

Dao has the Zero Gravity SR series: http://www.zerogravity-racing.com/sp...sptbks/422.htm

Just to let you know first generation was more powerful and lighter than later models, but they also had a tendency to fry their riders, the fairinf was well designed but heat escaped and got to your tighs, i burnt mine this summer...

Nevertheles any cbr100f are great bikes!!!

Oh no you didn't!!!
The earlier models were not more powerful as far as I know. If anything, they had a couple HP less.
The weight thing is true. I think the earlier ones were like 1 or 2kg lighter. (probably in the wider rear wheel and bigger tire on the later ones). Which isn't gonna make too big of a difference when you factor in body weight (or if I have 1gal of gas more than you).

The big difference lies in the outright ugliness of the early models compared to the later... LOL..
(oh yeah, and the whole "burning your ***" thing on the older ones, too...and the less reliable cct..... )

Where the hell are you getting those HP numbers at, son?

BTW, if you check the service manual.... section 20-2 in "Troubleshooting".... you'll see the the question: "Engine Lacks Power"

Right underneath is the answer: "This is completely normal if you own a 1987-1991 model."
