Thumbs up pilion backrest

Hi all,

My wifee habing back problems( scolisys) it was preventing her from doing long rides with me. I was looking for a backrest but did not want to go with a rack or top case or something permanent, here is what I found on ebay. it is a company near my place and it is removable in five minutes and you can put it on in five minutes as well. As our brits friends would say : Brilliant !Attached is a pic, I will receive it on monday! I was about to do it myself and was looking for the materials but stumbled upon, by the look of the sissi bar it should fit.

the company is:http://www.cw-intl.com/, they have a store on Ebay

I willlet you now

Shadow we shoold have a category of parts called add on.

have a good day everyone!

Post up as soon as you see if it works out.

My wife won't ride with me unless she has a backrest, more a security thing than comfort. She keeps wanting me to fab something.

Gooday!

I received it today and it took me 7 minutes to put it on, it fits perfectly , the only problem is that my sissy bar is coated in rubber which moves and don't put it as secure as the gen 2 or 3 uncoated sissy bar. But it should not be that long to fix.

So here are the pictures.

thelin on ebay is:

Hi Dragon

I bought a 1993 model last month. One of the reasons for the 'cane was for my wife to ride pillion - my last bike was too small. However, during our first ride together she was cramping up. We reckon that this is due to a lack of backrest - if we had one she could push back, allowing more room for her legs. She does not feel confident to move back on the seat without a back rest.

Therefore, I need a back rest. Do you think that the backrest you purchased is suitable for a '93 mode. Is it stable. Are you happy with it?

Cheers

Flip
