I was looking for somewhere to get my seat reupholstered locally and found this site. It will probably be more interesting for the UK guys but you never know.

This is basically the reply I received from the seat company above. There is the cost of posting the seat to them and for them to return it but it doesn't seem too extortionate to me and getting it done in a week sounds good to me.

240 pound = 420AUD is a pretty good price chippy, comparing a genuine accessory kawasaki z1000 gel seat 500 AUD ( solo pad ) and yours would be customised! dollar for dollar / pound for pound in your case, it's a winner deal for a comfy butt!

Hi mate Im practically your neighbour, I live in Heanor.
Read my post on the seat cover I have just bought and am getting fitted.

Wait till I get mine back tomorrow and come and have a look - cover from Germany, fitted in Ilkeston and he will put a gel pad in if you supply (£10 - 30) a lot cheaper than the route you are going.
