Default 91 CBR 1000F- Corbin Seat

Hello, Does anyone here ride on a corbin seat? I'm thinking of adding one to my CBR and would like to know if the additional comfort is worth the price?

I am also wondering what Heli Bars to use, I saw where someone used VFR750 Heli bars..

I've added the GenMar 3/4 bar risers to my CBR1000F. Easy install and made a big difference.

I went and found some for $100 so I popped and will give them a try. thanks for mentioning them, looks like a simpler/cheaper alternative to Heli bars

Not necessarily when you find a set of VFR bars for 50 bucks with a bigger rise

I have a Corbin on my 1990 CBR ..........worth every penny to , very comfortable
but you should spec' your build if you order from Corbin for height weight etc.

If you want to raise the bars 3/4", just raise them...no need for the GenMars. I've got my bars up about an inch with no spacers, works great. Just don't move them higher than the pinch bolt, such that the compression from the bolt isn't fully on the fork tube and you're good.

re: corbin

I have one on mine and it's a massive improvement over stock. I'm a fatass, so the stock seat was way way too soft for me. The Corbin fixes that right up.

I'm a fatass too so perhaps I will have to get a corbin seat

+1 on the Corbin for the wider seat.
