no clue about the dragon jeans but ive got 2 pairs of icon pants and a pair of joe rocket mesh textiles and they definately seem better than regular jean. but leather is the best but im like you, i cannot make myself buy leather pants. don't wanna look like a stagehand for motley crue.

the riding jeans are suppose to add a LITTLE extra protection...are you wanting something to wear all day long or just for a ride with the crew?

there is NO one thing does it all for gear...need a couple of different sets...

ie...I bought a pair of black leather boots and brown ones so that I can wear all the time...then when jump on bike am protected....will eventually get a good race set...but if bought them first, wouldn't wear very often and ride around most of time with running shoes or something

have a good textile winter jacket...next bought good flow through 2 piece suit...and finally gonna go pick up full leather race suite

sounds like i might have a good start w/leather jak and the pants, $200.00 for a jak and about $90.00 for the jeans. not trying to be cheap on my hide, but trying to start somewhere.

good call....are you getting gloves? natural instinct to put hands down when falling....

most people place these ahead of pants for safety

i've been looking at joe rocket alter ego pants. they have multi layers so you can be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. about 150$ on ebay for the textile.

I just bought a joe rocket textile UFO jacket. has the removeable outer shell for summer time and some good padding in the right places. I am about to purchase some of those draggin jeans along with a pair of ICON's reinforced jeans that have mesh between your legs so your ***** can breath a little. I dont know about yall but i like that idea!! Im getting the jeans so I can wear them all day if need be, but i am also buying some of ICON's knee/shin padding to wear under the jeans that i can take off when i get to where i am going.
